Nebraska Truck Center, Inc. Launches ReRun Truck Parts Taking Used Part Sales Online
Nebraska Truck Center, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of its rebranded used truck parts division, ReRun Truck Parts. The used parts division may have a new name and website, but Nebraska Truck Center isn’t a stranger to the used heavy duty parts industry. For over twenty years the company has owned a heavy and medium duty truck salvage yard and has sold recycled parts at the intersection of Burlington and Highway 6 in Hastings, Nebraska.
Kent Coen, President of Nebraska Truck Center said “We have seen owner-operators and fleets choosing to own their trucks longer than ever before. Some of these owners have come to depend on replacement parts to keep their trucks in working order, often times choosing to utilize recycled parts as a low cost alternative to buying a new part. By making our inventory of recycled parts accessible online, we can help owner-operators and repair shops find the parts they need without breaking the bank.”
ReRun Truck Parts carries a large assortment of used parts such as engines, transmissions, differentials and hoods for all makes of heavy and medium duty trucks including Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International, Sterling and Volvo. All parts are inspected by a quality technician before being listed on the website. Nebraska Truck Center’s collision center can paint parts to match customer’s specifications before they are shipped out.

Nebraska Truck Center marks 35 years as Freightliner dealer
Nebraska Truck Center in Grand Island, a Freightliner and Western Star dealership, was recognized by Daimler Trucks North America on Nov. 26 for 35 years as a successful Freightliner truck dealer.
Nebraska Truck Center was one of the original group of dealers awarded a franchise by Freightliner in 1977.
John Georgoulis, central region distribution operations manager for Daimler Trucks North America, presented the 35-Year Partnership Award to Nebraska Truck Center President Kent Coen and Chairman of the Board Lloyd Brown.
Also present from DTNA were Chris Lampert, central region general manager; Steve Edwards, district manager; Randy Pennington, vocational sales manager; Joey Popwell, district service representative; and Michael Peabody, Daimler Truck Financial district finance manager.
Nebraska Truck Center was founded in 1969 by Brown, Coen and their late partner, Floyd Hough, in a small office with six truck bays along Highway 30. Over 43 years, the company has added a full-service location in North Platte in 1972 and a body shop and salvage yard in Hastings in 1992.
In 2001, the business moved the Grand Island location from Highway 30 to the current location along Highway 281, north of Interstate 80, to better meet the needs of heavy- and medium-duty truck customers. The company employs approximately 80 people between the three locations.
“Nebraska Truck Center has been blessed with an outstanding team of employees over the past 43 years,” Coen said. “Two team members, Larry Adams and Stephen Kucera, have been with us since the beginning of our Freightliner franchise with many more being employed with us for over 20 years.
